His new look is a shock. The album cover is him in a black mask and putting his hand out like he is reaching for something with a black and grey background.
The most popular song in his album is “Sticky” with featured artists GloRilla, Sexyy Red and Lil Wayne. The song is famous on almost every app including Tiktok and Instagram. His songs are so fresh and every song shows his versatility and his uniqueness to making music.
Tyler, the Creator’s last album “Call Me If You Get Lost” was a hit. It won a grammy award for best rap album and other awards like BET hip hop award for best album of the year. When his new album was released everyone was eager to listen.
Tyler certainly is a creative and an amazing artist. He has been nominated in 2013 for album of the year and 2018 for best rap album and finally won his first grammy in 2020 for best rap album. Taft has many students who are fans of his music and has been listening to his music for quite some time.
Junior Chloe Kimple has expressed her love for his music. She stated, “I like his unique sense of style and you usually don’t hear the music that he makes everywhere else, I really love the fact he makes his own beats. It shows his passion for music and shows the talent and skills to leave his listeners in shock.”
She furthermore said, “As a fan I really like his sense of humor and his attitude because it shows his real personality.”
A former Taft student Emily Macias is a fan of Tyler, the Creator and had been listening to him during her time at Taft. She said, “Tyler has always been creative when it comes to music but this new album is certainly unexpected and so was the features in a good way.”
Civics teacher Micheal Klodzinski voiced his opinions of modern day music and viral songs including Tyler, the Creator. “I started listening to music in the 70’s and 80’s and those were times music was alive and after that I have been waiting for music to amuse and surprise me and I am still waiting….”
Tyler, the Creator without question is talented and his new album is thriving. Many love his music and many don’t love his music, but still his songs are getting viewed. His recognition for his music and his hardwork is earning him more fans each day. Maybe this album holds hopes of future grammys.
